A Casuals pair

Two new arrivals at King George's Field

Corinthian-Casuals gave two players their debuts from the bench as they lost at Potters Bar Town yesterday, as former Merstham man Oliver Bennett moved over and Matthew Parsons moved up from Faversham Town.

Bennett played for Tooting & Mitcham United under Frank Wilson as they first earned promotion to the Premier Division in 2016-17 and then played there in 2017-18. He later spent time with Greenwich Borough and Sevenoaks Town, before starting this season with the Moatsiders.

Parsons, a defender, started his career with Crystal Palace and also played professionally for Barnet, Wycombe Wanderers and Plymouth Argyle. He's since played for Boreham Wood, Eastbourne Borough, Maidenhead United, Leatherhead, Cray Valley PM and Cray Wanderers and- most recently- Faversham Town.
