A Deres trio

Macey Malyon actually played against the Deres for Stansfeld in the FA Cup earlier this season, playing the entire ninety minutes in a two-nil win for his new club. The midfielder makes the short move to Erith and Belvedere from Erith Town, where he has made ten appearances, but he spent rather longer at Stansfeld, and indeed played under his new management duo Billy Hamlin and Jamie Phipps when the club won the SCEFL Division One title in 21-22, a season when they also reached the fifth round of the FA Vase.

Forward Obed Yeboah first appeared in the Pitching In Isthmian League last season, as he spent some time on loan at Corinthian-Casuals when an AFC Wimbledon Academy prospect. He makes this move from Tonbridge Angels- and Margate- as he was on a dual registration deal with both sides, and indeed was featured in the Margate side that drew with Concord Rangers on January 13th- his only appearance. He started this season at Truro City.

Dave Martin has bags of experience, and moves over from Holmesdale. Winger Dave spent the 21-22 season earning promotion with Hastings United, before moving on to- then- SCEFL side Phoenix Sports in the summer of 2022. He made thirty one appearances- and scored three goals- as United took the Pitching In Isthmian South East title.

He also spent some time last season at Burgess Hill Town, where he played nine times and scored one goal.

Prior to his move to our level Dave had a fine professional career. He came through the youth setup at Brighton & Hove Albion and went on to play for Crystal Palace, Derby County, Millwall, Notts County, Southend United, Luton Town, Bristol Rovers and Stevenage. He spent time with Whitehawk during their National League South days, was back at the Hawks in a player/coach capacity a few years later when they were in our ranks, and went on to spend time with Margate before his period at the Pilot Field.
