A Dunne deal

By Ian Townsend

Former Exeter, Portsmouth, Swindon and Stevenage midfielder James Dunne is new at Chatham Town

Chatham Town have added considerable experience to their midfield prior to tomorrow's trip to Whitehawk, with experienced midfielder James Dunne making the move from Dover Athletic.

James has many, many years at a level much higher than ours. He played youth football for Wimbledon and Arsenal, and spent time at Nottingham Forest, before making his senior bow with Exeter City, where he played more than a hundred times. He went on to play for Stevenage, Portsmouth, Cambridge United and Swindon Town, and in recent years has turned out in the National League for Barnet and Southend United, and in National League South for Welling United and- most recently- Dover.
