A Gorleston duo

By Ian Townsend

Jake Spooner and Jeremiah Dasaolu new in Green

Gorleston have announced the signings of Jake Spooner and Jeremiah Dasaolu, both of whom featured in Saturday's defeat at the hands of Maldon & Tiptree.

Forward Jake comes in from Leiston, who describe him as a midfielder so perhaps he's multi-functional. He joined Leiston in the summer, after playing for Harleston Town and Beccles Town last season. He was previously with Kirkley & Pakefield, making his debut there aged just sixteen.

Jeremiah was previously with Dereham Town, where he made twenty five appearances last season. This season he has played once for Wroxham, and he was previously with Grantham Town and Loughborough University. He has actually played twice for his new club, and indeed scored on his debut against Great Wakering Rovers.
