A managerial duo for the Deres

Erith & Belvedere were very quick to replace the departed Matt Longhurst, appointing a managerial duo- Billy Hamlin and Jamie Phipps taking the top job(s) in time for Sunday's defeat against Lancing.

Billy and Jamie were previously in charge of SCEFL club Stansfeld, winning the SCEFL Division One title in 21-22 and establishing the side in the Premier Division, delivering a ninth place finish before being surprisingly asked to depart at the end of the campaign. They also steered their side to the Fifth Round of the FA Vase during that promotion season, and we're telling you about that particularly because they defeated Badshot Lea and Raynes Park Vale on the way, before losing on penalties to Southall!

Their success at Stansfeld came despite the club having no budget and no ground, with all home matches played at Glebe FC. Their former club are now bottom of the table, having won only three of their twenty three matches so far.
