We’re off to the Len Salmon, as Hashtag United take on Lewes in Pitching In Isthmian Premier

Love them or hate them, there’s something to be said for 3G pitches on this continually waterlogged or frozen island we call home, and tonight on Bowers & Pitsea’s carpet Hashtag United welcome Lewes- tenth v ninth.

The fortunes of both sides are contrasting of late. The Tags have lost their last four, and indeed conceded ten goals in the last two- although Saturday’s five-four home defeat to Bognor Regis Town must stand as one of the craziest matches in recent history. The Rooks are six unbeaten, with four wins, and are full of confidence- although it must be said that they tend to be better at their own Dripping Pan that they are on their travels.

The two are scheduled to meet again- hopefully in much warmer temperatures- on Saturday April 20th, when both will hope to be involved in the play off chase.

Kick off is at 7.45 PM. Image from Nashy Photo.
