A new- and hopefully magic- Wand

By Ian Townsend

Tayo Oyebola is new at Cray Wanderers

Cray Wanderers new signing Tayo Oyebola introduced himself to the crowd at Hayes Lane in perfect fashion on Friday night as his club welcomed Enfield Town, opening the scoring as Wands defeated Enfield Town. That was the forward's fifth goal of the season, as he'd already managed four in twenty two appearances against Hastings United- but sadly for his new club couldn't manage another against his former club in the goalless draw on New Years Day.

Tayo spent time last season with Corinthian-Casuals, playing five times and scoring once. He moved on to play nine times for Tooting & Mitcham United, and finished the campaign with Fleet Town.

The 21-22 campaign saw him with Leatherhead and Marlow. He also previously played Harlow Town, for whom he made thirty six appearances scoring thirteen goals during the 2019-20 season, and also spent some time with Staines Town before that campaign fell over.

He previously played for Molesey, Chipstead, Hartley Wintney and Waltham Abbey.
