South East promotion chasers Lancing bring in defender Danny Howick from Bognor

Bognor Regis Town have announced the transfer of young defender Danny Howick to Pitching In Isthmian South East promotion chasers Lancing.

Danny was the captain of the Rocks youth team and went on to make his debut in March 2022 aged just seventeen, when he played the entire ninety minutes in a draw on the road at Corinthian-Casuals. He went on to make nine appearances as that campaign came to a close, and another twenty five last season, scoring his first Rocks goal in a four-nil thumping of Bowers and Pitsea.

He has played twelve more times this season, and scored another goal- in defeat against Whitehawk in mid October.

He might get to make a Lancers debut on Saturday, and if so it will be a baptism of fire, as they put their current fine form to the test against title favourites Ramsgate.
