Ade Azeez is Gary McCann's first signing for Billericay Town

Billericay Town yesterday confirmed the capture of Welling United forward Ade Azeez.

Ade came through the youth setup at Charlton Athletic, and as well as playing for the Addicks had loan time at Wycombe Wanderers, Dagenham & Redbridge, Torquay United and Leyton Orient. Upon leaving The Valley he signed for AFC Wimbledon, and went on to play for Partick Thistle and Cambridge United. A loan spell with Dover Athletic followed, before a move to Wales, to play for Newport County.

The last few years have seen him play once more for Dover, spent a season with Dartford, before his move to Welling last season. The last two campaigns have been the most prolific of his career, with eighteen goals for the Darts and seventeen for United.
