A new Seed Growing striker

Coggeshall Town yesterday announced the capture of Saffron Waldon Town centre forward Stan Leech for an undisclosed fee.

The Seed Growers, who are suddenly looking upwardly mobile and defeated Gorleston four-nil at the weekend, played youth and junior football for Saffron Walden before stepping up to the first team last season- and was an immediate success, so much so that he signed a contract last summer. He has scored seven goals in his twenty one appearances this season, adding to the seven he managed in twenty five appearances last season.
