A North Non League Day

It’s a day of big, big games, with our top two playing each other, and fifth taking on fourth- but there is excitement right across the table.

Lowestoft Town versus Felixstowe and Walton United is a match that we’re sure the Trawler Boys would class as a must win- defeat would leave them four points behind, which, given they’ve spent most of the season leading the pack, would be unthinkable. There are no particular offers for this one- but let’s be fair, you wouldn’t need one, would you?!

Bowers and Pitsea welcome Bury Town, and if you have a season ticket for any other sports club- it doesn’t even have to be football- they’ll let you in for ONE POUND. The hosts have a six point advantage over Walthamstow so will hold onto that last play off place regardless of the outcome, whilst the visitors, seven points off the lead with two games in hand, will still have an eye on the title.

Gorleston welcome Enfield to the seaside, and the Greens are letting Norwich City season ticket holders in for free, whilst Heybridge Swifts welcome Grays Athletic. Swifts find themselves seven points from a play off spot, so three points is a must.

Ipswich Wanderers take on another of our play off hopefuls, Basildon United, the Bees with a seven point gap to make up but a game in hand. Wanderers have been investing lots of money into their ground of late, with a large number of improvements, and they’d very much appreciate your support!

New Salamis welcome Stowmarket Town to Coles Park, whilst new Essex Senior Cup winners Redbridge are back on their own patch and probably waving a large, shiny trophy at all comers as they welcome Wroxham to East London. Congratulations- again- to the Motormen.

Walthamstow look to narrow the six point gap between themselves and fifth place as they play host to Brightlingsea Regent.
