A pair of Kingfishers

Kyle Daniel-Spray is new at Thatcham Town- whilst former Wembley hero Curtis Angell returns

Thatcham Town have announced the signing of left back Kyle Daniel-Spray, most recently of Reading FC.

Kingfishers boss Yashwa Romeo stated:

'Kyle is a left back and was with Reading FC last season, with us needing to fill that spot, he played in a friendly last week for us & his all round game was very good.

So it just made sense for both parties to make this happen very quickly.'

Kyle played youth and Under 18 football for Reading, leaving the club in the summer. He played alongside new Kingfishers teammate David Nyarko, who we told you more about yesterday- here.

The club have also announced the return of full back Curtis Angell, who was a big part of their FA Vase winning squad in 2017-18, a campaign which also saw them win the Hellenic League title on goal difference from Bracknell Town. Curtis played one hundred and twenty times for the club, before moving on to National League side Hungerford Town. He has also been known to play in goal, and indeed donned the gloves for the final two matches of the Kingfishers 2018-19 campaign!

He has also turned out for Andover and AFC Totton.
