A pair of Nuts and Bolts

Ashford bring in two

Ashford United closed to within four points of leaders Hastings United on Tuesday night, and today they prepared for the meeting of the top two at Pilot Field on Saturday by strengthening their squad.

Forward Tommie Fagg moves over from Sittingbourne. Tommie has made twenty seven appearances for the Brickies this season- including against his new club on Tuesday- scoring three times. He made thirty three appearances last season. He played for the Nuts and Bolts earlier in his career, and also turned out for Harlow Town.

Sam Hasler moves over on loan from Folkestone Invicta. Sam signed for Invicta from Herne Bay in October 2016, and previously played for Erith and Belvedere and Maidstone United. He has made twenty appearances this season, but has been on the bench in recent weeks, and his move is currently for one month. He spent some time with the Nuts and Bolts on loan last season, making four appearances and scoring once.
