A Seed Growers double

By Ian Townsend

Freddie Tandon and QPR loanee Riley Cotter are new at Coggeshall Town

Coggeshall Town have announced a double signing as we speed towards this week's Transfer Deadline Day, with the arrivals of Freddie Tandon from New Salamis and Riley Cotter, the latter on loan from Queens Park Rangers.

Defender Freddie has made thirty one appearances for Salamis this season- including two against Town, three-nil wins for his former club in League and FA Trophy. He brings a great deal of experience to the Seed Growers relegation battle, counting amongst his clubs Grays Athletic- where he came through the youth side- Enfield, Potters Bar Town, Frenford and Sporting Bengal United.

At the other end of the experience scale is Riley Cotter, who joins on loan from Queens Park Rangers. Riley has played Academy, Under 18 and Under 21 football with Rangers, and is a defensive midfielder. Prior to his time with Rangers he spent time with the Academy at Reading.
