Staines Town bring in four

Yesterday was a very busy day for the club secretary at Staines Town, as the club announced four new signings.

First through the door at Wheatsheaf Park was midfielder Karim Kamhouri. Karim has played for Banstead, Horley Town, Carshalton Athletic as an Under 23, Langley FC in the Hellenic League, Balham and Tooting & Mitcham United, again predominantly as an Under 23.

Next was former Hanwell Town defender Harry Tucker. Harry played seven matches for the Geordies this season, and picked up a red card against his new employers in an FA Cup match back in September. He previously played for Burnham, Aylesbury United, Egham Town, Uxbridge, Kings Langley and Beaconsfield SYCOB.

Striker Ross Murdoch was signing number three. Ross comes in from Metropolitan Police, but you may have a better memory of his time with Burgess Hill Town at the end of last season. He played for the Hillians on loan and scored two goals on his debut at Kingstonian, and went on to play seven further games as the Hillians unsuccessfully attempted to fight off relegation.

Finally, another former Hanwell Town man arrived- this one striker Sheridan Campbell. Sheridan made only one appearance for the Geordies this season, and that from the bench. He has also played previously for Beaconsfield SYCOB, and for Abbey Rangers in the Combined Counties League.
