A Tanners trio

Leatherhead bring in three

Leatherhead haven't had the best start to the season, and the idea of facing Lewes in the FA Cup today, only a week after the Rooks defeated them 4-1, has perhaps persuaded manager Nikki Bull that reinforcements were required. Yesterday the club announced the arrival of three new players.

First in came AFC Wimbledon striker Tommy Wood, on loan for a month. Tommy made five loan appearances for Burgess Hill Town at the end of last season and came close to keeping the Hillians up on his own, scoring in victories over Kingstonian, Merstham and Corinthian-Casuals, and in the draw with Brightlingsea Regent. Indeed the only match he played in and didn't score in was defeat to runners-up Carshalton Athletic. Read more here.

Joining Tommy at Fetcham Grove is winger Daniel Olusemo. Daniel has played for Braintree Town and apparently also spent some time with Crawley Town, although we can't find any record of that. We do know, however, that he spent some time with Ware in the North Division during 2017-18, and also turned out for Aylesbury United. Read more here.

Finally, a face familiar to the Tanners faithful. Right back Callum Driver played in green last season, on loan from Dartford, and has now moved to Fetcham Grove permanently. In his six matches Driver was on the losing side only once, against AFC Hornchurch, and with him in the right back spot the Tanners won four of those matches. Read more here.
