A Tooting twosome

Ilic and Williams become Terrors

Tooting and Mitcham United gave two new players their debuts as they took on Ware at the weekend.

Stefan Ilic will be familiar to Terrors fans, as he played for them last season, making twenty five appearances and scoring five goals. He moved to Premier Division Lewes in the summer, scored on his debut against Enfield Town, and made twenty eight appearances for the Rooks in total, scoring a further four goals. His last appearance was in the home defeat against East Thurrock United in late January. His second debut for the Terrors was also marked with the opening goal on Saturday.

Forward Dan Williams came in from Chalfont St Peter. He's had a prolific season for the Saints, scoring sixteen goals in twenty three appearances, so if he can replicate that for the Terrors then supporters at Imperial Fields will be delighted. He originally joined the Saints on a dual-registration deal from Hendon, returning to the UK relatively recently after three years in the USA.
