Striker Dernell is newly arrived on Summers Lane

Wingate & Finchley have announced the signing of striker Dernell Wynter, and indeed gave him his debut in their cup win over Bowers & Pitsea on Saturday.

Dernell is no stranger to our league, and indeed ended last season at Hanwell Town, helping the Geordies to Pitching In Isthmian South Central promotion. He made twelve appearances in black and white, culminating in their Play Off Final win against Chertsey Town.

Prior to his time as a Geordie he was with Harrow Borough, but he has also spent time with Chesham United, Potters Bar Town, St Albans City, Braintree Town, Ware and Enfield Town.
