Abbott is a Scholar

Prior to the weekend's fixtures Potters Bar Town announced the loan signing of defender George Abbott from Watford- and the Scholars thrust him into action on New Years Day, where he played for the first half at Billericay Town.

George has played youth, Under 18 and Under 21 football with the EFL Championship Hornets. This isn't his first loan foray, either, as he has already spent time at National League South side Chippenham Town.

He is a Wales Under 19 international, and indeed has already captained his national side.
