Amarildo Cekresi returns to Walthamstow

Prior to Saturday's defeat at Maldon & Tiptree, Walthamstow announced the return to the club of goalkeeper Amarildo Cekresi, who kept an incredible twenty five clean sheets as they won the Essex Senior League in 21-22.

Amar started his career in Greece, before heading to Belgium, where he played Under 19 and Under 21 football in Brussels for Anderlecht. Back in Greece, he played for Fokikos A.C. and Athens Kallithea before a return to Belgium with Olympic Charleroi. A spell in Albania with KS Kastrioti followed, before a move to the UK and to our very own New Salamis- although they weren't in our League at that point.

He then moved on to Stow, but this season has been elsewhere in the Pitching In Isthmian North Division, with Witham Town, where he made a dozen appearances- the last of them coming in defeat at Redbridge on December 16th.
