Akinnibi is newly Baggy

Badshot Lea bring in Met forward Kareem Akinnibi

Just prior to the New Year weekend, Badshot Lea announced that they had snapped up Metropolitan Police forward Kareem Akinnibi. They gave him a debut from the bench in Saturday's draw with Thatcham Town, and he then got his first Baggies start in the defeat at Ascot United.

Kareem joined the boys in blue in the summer, and has scored eight goals in his twenty one appearances this season, and played the last fifteen minutes of Met's draw with the Baggies on October 31st.

Prior to his time with Met he spent time with Tooting & Mitcham United, coming through their youth sides before making nine appearances last season and one during the previous campaign. He moved on to Redhill, where he was rather deadly in front of goal.

He has also played for Chessington & Hook United and Sutton Athletic.
