Margate bring in Tonbridge centre back

Margate have announced the signing of Tonbridge Angels centre back Harry Hudson- who isn't to be confused with the Sevenoaks Town boss of the same name.

Harry was a West Ham United youth who moved on to Watford, where he played for the Under 18 and Under 23 sides. Whilst a Hornet he spent a spell on loan at Cray Wanderers, making ten appearances and scoring in an FA Cup win over Soham Town Rangers, and also spent some time at Billericay Town.

He left Watford last year and has since spent a season playing in National League South for Angels.

Manager Andy Drury told the club website:

“Harry is a young centre back that already has experience of playing football levels above this one. Harry has the ability to be a key part of our new team this season at Hartsdown Park and I am really looking forward to working with him.

The fact that Harry had five or six other offers on the table but chose to join us shows the exciting project that we have happening here."
