Bantick back at the E's

Enfield announce a Sam Bantick return

Enfield have announced the return to the club of forward Sam Bantick, who was most recently- from an Isthmian perspective- at Heybridge Swifts.

Sam seems to have led something of a nomadic existence this season. He started with the E's, playing four times with two goals, moved on to Grays Athletic (where he'd finished last season) and played seven games with three goals, and then moved to Heybridge Swifts, where he has had several spells, and played fifteen times with four goals. He has since played very briefly for Hulbridge Sports.

Heybridge Swifts had a not-so-new name in their starting line up as they defeated New Salamis at Coles Park last night- and Sam Bantick made his usual immediate impact, scoring the opening goal from the spot.

He scored twenty two goals for Grays last season.

Grays signed Sam in the summer of 22 from Hashtag United. He got ten goals for the Tags during the 22-23 campaign in two spells, and another ten in between those periods with United, when he spent a short time at Coggeshall Town.

He has played for a fairly hefty number of Pitching In Isthmian clubs, including Brentwood Town, Canvey Island, Romford, Cambridge City, Enfield Town, Aveley and Tonbridge Angels. He has guaranteed goals for virtually all of them.
