Jerson Dos Santos is new at Sheppey United

Sheppey United gave a debut to new arrival Jerson Dos Santos in defeat against Cray Valley PM on Saturday, sending him on from the bench with twenty minutes remaining.

Jerson has already played for two Pitching In isthmian South East sides this season, most recently East Grinstead Town, where he made fifteen appearances and scored four goals. he started the season by playing seven times for Erith and Belvedere.

Last season he was with Whitehawk, playing nine times, and also spent time at Faversham Town. He spent the 21-22 campaign with Haywards Heath Town, where he scored nine goals in thirty three appearances.

He joined Heath from Corinthian-Casuals, where he managed a fantastic return of five goals in eight matches at the end of the 20-21 campaign (what there was of it), after joining them from another set of Casuals, our sadly no more Pitching In Southern League friends at Walton.

He has played for a number of other Pitching In Isthmian clubs, including Sevenoaks Town, Hythe Town, Margate, Whyteleafe, Grays Athletic and Carshalton Athletic, and also spent time at Folkestone Invicta before heading to Walton Casuals. He got ten goals in thirty five matches at the BuildKent Stadium during the 2019-20 season.

Away from his Isthmian career, in his younger days he spent time with Crystal Palace, Charlton Athletic and AFC Wimbledon.
