Basildon start a manager search- four days after concluding their last one

Kendall out, four days after Kendall in

It is only four days since we brought you the news that Glen Kendall had been named the new manager of Basildon United. Yet here we are again, bringing you the news that the Bees are once again searching for a new boss!

Kendall and his coaching team had been in charge for only one match, yesterday’s defeat against Hornchurch in the FA Trophy- and now, according to the Basildon Echo, it’s Game Over.

Speaking to the paper, vice-chairman Lee Connor confirmed Kendall and his backroom staff have left the club, explaining:

“We have had second thoughts and feel decisions were made far too quickly on the appointment of Glen Kendall and his management team.

Glen and his team have been relieved of their duties and the club will not be making any rash decisions for the time being.

I will be stepping up as interim manager until a permanent appointment is made.”
