Nathan Boamah signs on for Beckenham Town

Beckenham Town have announced the signing of Cray Wanderers goalkeeper Nathan Boamah, who has already played twice- in Saturday's win at Sittingbourne and last night's defeat at Littlehampton Town.

Nathan came through the Under 18 setup at Wands, only to be thrust into the first team at the end of last season after the club suffered a keeper crisis. He received rave reviews, making a man of the match debut against promotion chasing Enfield Town in a three-three draw before making more critical saves as Wands effectively preserved their Premier Division status in a four-one hammering of East Thurrock United. He was also in goal as they fell three-one to Bishop's Stortford in the last game of the season, and again reports suggest he delivered an excellent performance.

As well as his time with Wands, he also spent some time on loan at Kent Football United in the SCEFL, and had a trial with Wycombe Wanderers. He moved briefly to Sutton Common Rovers in the summer before returning to Hayes Lane, and has been on the bench for the Premier Division side.
