Blues partner with Championship giants to provide career pathway for their Academy

Bishop's Stortford today announced an exciting new initiative which will see them form a partnership with Championship club Middlesbrough.

The arrangement will see the Blues work with Boro to identify young talent deserving of a professional chance- and then to send them for professional trials. Boro have a similar partnership in place with Northern Irish club Portadown and have a close working relationships with a number of other clubs.

Stortford coach Jim Duggan stated:

"Myself and Jamie [Cureton] are delighted with this partnership and hope it will prove to be a real inspiration and motivation to the players at both academy and senior level.

Being able to tap into the resources of such a fantastic club like Middlesbrough Football Club is an exciting prospect and will aid the CPD of the players but also us as coaches.”
