Striker Smith swaps Australia for Ramsgate


Ramsgate have announced the return to the club of striker Rory Smith.

Highly-rated Rory, who has previously spent some time on trial with Aberdeen, left the Rams for Oz in November, but has decided to return home after cutting short his stint at Queensland based Redlands United.

Rory made his debut for the Rams in 2017-18, and went on to make thirty eight appearances that season, scoring eighteen goals. He got eighteen more in 2018-19, including a hat trick against Whitstable Town, and made another twenty one appearances last season before heading down under.
