Borough trio head to Hill

Finn Holter, George Brown and Jay Beckford are new at Burgess Hill Town

It's as if Burgess Hill Town took a trip to the seaside and came back with three souvenirs, as Eastbourne Borough players Finn Holter, George Brown and Jay Beckford sign on at Leylands Park.

Goalkeeper Finn made a debut in Saturday's draw at Phoenix Sports. He has moved to Hill after a loan spell at Bexhill United in the SCFL, where- if the FA website is to be believed- he has made fifteen appearances. A Borough Under 18 who has made first team appearances in the Sussex Senior Cup, Finn's loan is until the end of the season.

Defender George Brown has only been with Borough since November, when he joined on a dual registration deal from Hill's neighbours Haywards Heath Town. He came through the ranks at Brighton & Hove Albion and was then an Under 18 at Woking before joining the Hillians for a first spell- on loan- during the 16-17 season. He spent some time in the USA and then played for another of Hill's neighbours, Hassocks, before returning to Hill, where he played five times during 21-22 and four more times- with two goals- last season. He joined Heath in March last year.

Winger Jay Beckford played as a youth for Leyton Orient and Arsenal, and then spent time in Norway with Lillehammer and Gjøvik-Lyn before a spell in Sweden with Ytterhogdals IK. He then came our way, and spent a short time with Wingate and Finchley, before joining Borough in the closing stages of last season.
