Sittingbourne's players and officials have been turning out in force to meet the public and lure new fans to Woodstock Park to follow them in the Ryman League.

The Brickies took full advantage of a 'New Year's Resolution' event at the Forum Shopping Centre in Sittingbourne to encourage locals to do new things in 2015 by taking a stand of their own.

Featuring powerpoint presentations on the Ryman South outfit accompanied by the club song, merchandise, sample matchday programmes, invitations to sign up to the club's lottery and even sweets for younger prospective fans, the stand was manned by manager Nick Davis, chairman Maurice Dunk, Harry Chambers and Paul Golding, pictured, and others including vice-chairman Ken Medwyn, committee member Peter Pitts, Clive Phillips from the club's shop and a number of fans.

Sittingbourne assistant secretary Peter Pitts said: "We had a lot of interest and definitely will consider taking a stall at the centre again."
