Bridges launch food bank collection on Boxing Day

By Ian Townsend

Three Bridges and Whitehawk fans asked to help with food and toiletry donations

Three Bridges take on Whitehawk on Boxing Day, and whilst we expect no quarter to be given on the pitch the clubs will be hoping that their always-charitable supporters dig deep to help the less well off.

Bridges are collecting for a number of local charities and food banks, and have appealed for supporters to bring the following:

  • Tinned foods
  • Cooking sauces
  • Jam, marmalade, peanut butter and honey
  • Tea, coffee and long life milk
  • Pot noodles
  • Rice pudding and custard
  • Dog treats
  • Toiletries
  • Gift sets
  • Biscuits, chocolate and sweets
  • Socks and underwear- male and female

If you can help, you will be making a large difference to the lives of people who will really appreciate it. Please bring what you can.
