Carvalho for the Nuts and Bolts

Prior to Saturday's victory over Cray Valley PM, Ashford United announced the latest of several new names as Gil Carvalho moved down from Pitching In Isthmian Premier side Hastings United. He made an immediate debut and an immediate impact.

Gil only moved to the Pilot Field in the summer, after impressing for Haywards Heath Town last season. He made eight United appearances, the last of them from the bench in their FA Trophy win at Met Police earlier this month.

He was previously with East Grinstead Town, Sittingbourne, Ramsgate, Phoenix Sports and Corinthian-Casuals.
