Casuals go home

Corinthian-Casuals can finally return to King George's Field

Corinthian-Casuals have been unable to play at their King George's Field since a tree tumbled from the railway embankment and crashed through their clubhouse- but they have now been given the green light to return home.

It has been just over a month since the accident forced them to move out- a month which has seen them forced to move home matches to Metropolitan Police and Leatherhead and to give up home advantage for an FA Cup tie, but the removal of the offending foliage earlier this week and some temporary repairs to the facilities have seen them ready to head home- which means that Saturday's visit of Potters Bar Town will be a home game actually played at home.

There is no truth in the story that the tree has been offered the position of programme editor, on the basis that the last Tree they had in that position was rather good at it.
