Wilson Chingoka signs on at Basildon

Basildon United have announced the arrival of midfielder Wilson Chingoka, who you may remember was at Sutton Common Rovers rather briefly last season. He was most recently with St Ives Town.

Wilson was a favourite at another South central club, Northwood, a few years ago- picking up both the captains armband and the Supporters Player of the Year Award in 2017-18.

He came through the ranks at Wingate and Finchley, and after his time with the Woods moved on to Lewes, but he only played once, rather ironically in a win at Wingate and Finchley. He has also played for Staines Town, Bedford Town, Hertford Town, Rayners Lane, Tring Athletic, Biggleswade Town, Harlow Town, Nuneaton Borough and Wisbech Town.
