Celebrations on hold for milestone match, again!

South Park manager Joe McElligott will have to wait until the weekend for the chance to celebrate his 300th game in charge of the Ryman South club after being hit by second successive postponement on Tuesday.

McElligott's side were due to host Sutton United in the second round of the Surrey County Cup after he missed his first chance on Saturday thanks to a waterlogged pitch at Walton Casuals.

During his five years at the helm at Whitehall Lane, McElligott, pictured, has guided the Reigate-based club to two promotions and the highest level in their history.

Since first taking the reins against Feltham on August 8 2009 in the Combined Counties, a match the Sparks won 2-0, he has racked up an enviable win ratio of 57.85 per cent from his 299 games so far.

Weather permitting, McElligott will take to the touchline for the 300th time on Saturday when his side host Tooting & Mitcham United in league action.
