Colchester winger debuts for Stow

Stowmarket Town had a new name amongst their ranks as they travelled to Witham Town on Saturday, as Colchester United winger Harvey Sayer joined the club on loan.

Harvey, who can also play as a full back, has played Academy football for both Colchester and Norwich City, but he may be familiar with Isthmian watchers as this isn't his first loan spell. He spent time with Maldon & Tiptree during the pandemic hit 2019-20 campaign, playing twice, and again this season, making twenty two appearances and scoring five goals- including one against his new club in October.

The twenty year old, who has also had loan time at Billericay Town when they were in National League South, and spent time with Needham Market in the Pitching In Southern Premier, has also made a handful of first team appearances for United, and has a professional deal up until the summer.
