Heath managerial duo depart

Dale Hurley and Alex Walsh depart Haywards Heath Town after only two months at the club

Haywards Heath Town have announced the departure of managerial duo Dale Hurley and Alex Walsh.

Dale and Alex were only appointed to their roles as recently as mid December, leaving fellow Pitching In Isthmian South East side Lancing to make the move to Hanbury Park. The duo lost only one of their first six matches in charge- and that to promotion-chasing Whitehawk- but in recent weeks form has deserted their side. They haven't scored for five matches, and have lost four of them, plummeting into the bottom four. Their most defeat was against the side immediately below them in the table, Sittingbourne, a five-nil defeat yesterday.

As well as the Lancers, Dale and Alex were very successful as managers of the Under 18 side at Lewes, winning a host of trophies.
