Folkestone Invicta’s officials are looking forward to hosting the club's first fully-fledged and free 'Family Day' when they host Chipstead in Ryman South on Good Friday.

Invicta are hoping the 3pm kick-off, one of only two fixtures in Ryman South and one of only a handful of Non-League games in Kent on the first day of the Easter Holiday weekend, will attract a bumper crowd to the Fullicks Stadium with the club offering free admission to fans and 1000 free matchday programmes.

Invicta are also giving away 100 Easter eggs to the first under 11s to ask for one at the club shop which is holding a special 50 per cent off sale on many items of merchandise.

Despite already enjoying solid support home and away, the promotion-hunters say they are eager to show the rest of the general public just what they have been missing as well as taking the chance to give something back to the fans who've generously backed the club in recent years.

Manager Neil Cugley said: “We’re hoping a lot of people who’ve never been to the Fullicks Stadium will come along. We’ve been playing some great stuff in the last couple of months and I’m sure that they will really enjoy the experience.

"It’s a great chance for us to show people how far we have come, and I hope they will be pleasantly surprised with what they see. We want to make it a special day for everyone and we suggest that people get there early to make the most it.”
