Defender arrives for fresh challenge

Ryman League Leiston have signed former Football League defender Adam Tann on a two-year deal.

Tann ended last season on loan at Premier Division rivals Bury Town from Conference South Chelmsford City.

Leiston say Tann is delighted to have taken up a fresh challenge at an ambitious club after discussions with Blues manager Danny Law.

Tann played in the Football League at Cambridge United, Leyton Orient and Notts County, making more than 200 League appearances. He also played for Histon in the Conference Premier and signed for Chelmsford in 2010.
