Divine at Hythe

Hythe Town manager Steve Watt has quickly taken advantage of his Maidstone United connections by bringing in defender Danny Divine on loan. Watt, who was Assistant Manager at United last season and took over at Reachfields at the weekend, faces his first League match in charge as the Cannons travel to Phoenix Sports on Saturday.

Divine came through the Youth system at Gillingham, wining the clubs Under 16 Player of the Year Award before signing his first professional contract last year. He was released by the Priestfield club in April, and signed for United in July.
