Jerson Dos Santos makes Hawks debut in Hythe win

Whitehawk had a new attacking force on show in their win over Hythe Town on Saturday, Jerson Dos Santos making a second half debut from the bench.

Jerson is, of course, well known to Hawks boss Shaun Saunders as he played for him at Haywards Heath Town. He scored nine goals in thirty three appearances for the Hanbury Park side last season.

He joined Heath from Corinthian-Casuals, where he managed a fantastic return of five goals in eight matches at the end of the 20-21 campaign (what there was of it), after joining them from another set of Casuals, our sadly no more Pitching In Southern League friends at Walton.

He has played for a number of Pitching In Isthmian clubs, including Sevenoaks Town, Hythe Town, Margate, Whyteleafe, Grays Athletic, Carshalton Athletic and East Grinstead Town, and also spent time at Folkestone Invicta before heading to Walton Casuals. He got ten goals in thirty five matches at the BuildKent Stadium during the 2019-20 season.

Away from his Isthmian career, in his younger days he spent time with Crystal Palace, Charlton Athletic and AFC Wimbledon.
