Double Heath

Mo Diallo and Conrad Honoré are new at Haywards Heath Town

Haywards Heath Town had two new names in their squad as they drew with VCD Athletic on Saturday.

Mo Diallo, a winger, played youth and Under 21 football for Stoke City before moving on to Lewes for the latter stages of the 2018-19 campaign, when he made five appearances. Some time at Newhaven followed, but he was back in our ranks just before the pandemic, joining Bognor Regis Town, where he played just the once. Worthing soon beckoned, but after a few months with the Mackerel men he moved upwards, to Wealdstone, before heading back to Woodside Road once more. Corinthian Casuals was his next stop, and he made nineteen appearances- with four goals- last season, and another four appearances- one goal- this.

Midfielder Conrad Honoré comes in on a dual registration deal from Worthing. Conrad was previously with Heath's Pitching In South East rivals Lancing, where he made eleven appearances, and went on last season to spend time with Burgess Hill Town before joining the Mackerel Men. He has spent some time at Chichester City this season.

He was part of the Sussex County Under 16 side who won the South East Counties Youth Championship during the 2018-19 campaign, and moved on more success in the the Under 18 side.
