Championship-winning defender Sam Page will kick off the new Ryman Premier Division campaign at Kingstonian after completing his move from Staines Town on Monday.

Page, 25, started his career at MK Dons and captained at Horsham, Havant & Waterlooville and Sutton United where he won a Ryman League championship medal and made over a hundred appearances.

The defender's arrival from the Conference South's Swans completed a busy day of business for manager Alan Downson with Kingstonian also announcing the contract signings of Rob Tolfrey, Matt Somner, Dan Sweeney and Jamil Okai.

Three players also left Kingmeadow as the club prepares to return for pre-season. Tom Bird and Szymon Sidorowicz have joined Conference South outfit Hayes & Yeading United where former Republic of Ireland star Phil Babb, their agent, is now manager. Lewis Taylor has joined Conference South new boys Whitehawk.
