East Grinstead Town have added seven

East Grinstead Town have been in touch to tell us about some recent additions to their squad, so we thought we'd summarise them in one go.

Forward/Attacking midfielder (depending on which website you read!) Miles Cornwell has most recently been playing in the SCEFL with Tunbridge Wells, but has a great deal of Pitching In Isthmian experience, with the likes of Folkestone Invicta, Whitstable Town, Sittingbourne, Herne Bay and Sevenoaks Town.

Omar Folkes started this season with Merstham, and indeed made eleven appearances this season. He was in his third campaign with the Moatsiders, scoring seven goals and playing thirty five times during 2018-19 and making another three appearances- with one goal- last season. Prior to his time in Surrey he played for the likes of Worthing, Tooting & Mitcham United and Haywards Heath Town.

Jordan Hibbert has bags of experience with the likes of Dulwich Hamlet, Thamesmead Town, Met Police, Herne Bay and Kingstonian, after starting his career with Chelsea and Barnsley as a youth, whilst Merrick James-Lewis started the campaign at Haywards Heath Town. Merrick played youth football with Fulham and Southend United, but has turned out for a large number of our clubs over the years. His club collection includes Bishop's Stortford, Carshalton Athletic, Staines Town, Cray Wanderers, Maldon and Tiptree, Merstham, Canvey Island, Herne Bay and Lewes- and those are just the highlights!

Tom Summerfield also started this season with Heath, but you might know him from his time with Dorking Wanderers or South Park. He joined Wanderers after coming through the youth ranks with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Goalkeeper Callum Coulter has dual signed with the club, in conjunction with National League Aldershot Town. He became a shot after leaving Colchester United, but does have Isthmian experience with- of course- Maldon and Tiptree, and with Bowers and Pitsea, for whom he appeared on loan. He has also spent time at Harrow Borough this season.

Forward Alex Battle comes down the A264 on loan from Crawley Town for a month. Alex was previously with Plymouth Argyle and Truro City, and was the Red Devils top scorer in pre-season but hasn't had much of a sniff in the first team as yet.
