The Ryman League's flag-bearers in Non-League's showpiece competition dispatched National League Braintree Town 5-2 on Tuesday night in south London to set up a last eight tie at home to Macclesfield Town.
After drawing 0-0 in the third round in Essex on Saturday, nearly 1,000 fans at Champion Hill saw Gavin Rose's side bank another £7,000 as winners of the third round replay.
If the Ryman Premier's trophy hunters can overcome another National League outfit in the Silkmen on Saturday 25 February they'll collect another £8,000 in prize money and earn the chance to set a new club record in the competition.
Hamlet hadn't reached the third round for 33 years since playing Northwich Victoria in 1984 and Tuesday night's victory matches their best-ever run in the competition in 1980 when they reached the quarter-finals before being beaten by Boston United after a replay.
To get this far they have now beaten Chesham United, Lowestoft Town, Winchester City, Royston Town, Whitehawk and Braintree Town.
