Wingate and Finchley have announced the passing of former manager and life Vice-President Micky Dulin. In a post on social media, they explain:
'Micky was a true gentleman of the game who played a major role in building the Club. We send our condolences to his family.
We have all lost a great friend.'
Micky played for Tottenham Hotspur in the 1950's before having to retire from the game due to a catastrophic injury. He went on to manage Wingate & Finchley and Barking, and rather ironically, whilst in charge of leisure facilities at Waltham Forest Council in more recent times, was instrumental in finding Arsenal a new training ground after their move to The Emirates from Highbury.
Our sympathies and good wishes go out to Micky's family and friends, and to all at both Wingate & Finchley and Barking.
