Worthing have signed two goalkeepers from Brighton and Hove Albion. The first, Carl Rushworth, has arrived at Woodside Road for the entire season- but he isn't quite fit, so the Mackerel Men have also brought in Seagulls Under 18's keeper Roco Rees as cover whilst Carl recovers from his injury.
Carl came through the FC Halifax Town Youth Programme and was handed his first contract by the Shaymen last summer, but soon afterwards he was on the move as he was spotted by the Seagulls- and was able to move without a fee, much to Town's chagrin. Highly rated, his capture is something of a coup for Worthing, and they'll hope he returns to fitness as quickly as possible.
