Fan fundraising for new tunnel

Peacehaven & Telscombe stalwart Daniel Palmer has launched a Crowdfunder campaign for £1800 to purchase a retractable players' tunnel for the Ryman South's Magpies.

A member of club's committee and chairman of the supporters club as well as one of the club's social media gurus, Palmer's efforts come a few months after supporters and local businesses ensured the club's survival by helping to pay for a new stand at their Piddinghoe Avenue ground.

To raise the £15,000 that was needed, the East Sussex club's Stand or Fall campaign saw fans and local businesses sponsor seats in the new stand so work could get underway.
