Faversham appoint a new manager

Former Chatham boss heads to Salters Lane

Faversham Town have announced that their new manager is former Chatham Town boss James Collins.

Collins has already appointed his coaching team, with former Town player Nick Davis becoming his assistant, and Brad Sandeman his first team coach.

Collins resigned from his post at Chatham at the end of September, after almost two years in charge. He left with the club at the top of the Southern Counties East Premier Division, and was extremely highly-regarded, winning two trophies during his time in charge- the first the club had picked up in twenty years.

He replaces Phil Miles and Danny Chapman, the joint managers who departed Salters Lane on October 23rd.
