We asked a supporter from each of our member clubs to answer the same series of questions as part of our preview of the new season. We also asked them to predict how their particular division would finish, from one to 24- and their answers will be revealed in a collection of Supporters Prediction Tables to be released the day before the big kick off.
Here are the answers of Andy Harrup, representing Tooting & Mitcham United.
1. What was your favourite moment of last season?
There were many with all the big wins we had, but winning 5-1 at Lewes was great with a huge following and Lewes’ largest crowd of the season.
2. And what was the worst moment?
Losing at home to East Preston in the FA Cup preliminary round in August.
3. How will you do this season?
I think we will hold our own and end up mid table. It would be nice just to consolidate this season.
4. Which matches are you most looking forward to- and why?
It has to be our local derby against Dulwich Hamlet. There is a lot of rivalry between us going back many years.
5. What is your favourite away ground?
Folkestone Invicta is a fine stadium with lovely people.
6. Who do you consider your biggest rivals- and why?
As I’ve said, Dulwich Hamlet. There will be a huge crowd there on 28th August.
7. What advice would you give to an away supporter visiting you for the first time?
We have a lovely ground with big terracing and a nice stand. Our bar is well worth visiting and has real ale. All our beers are very cheap, £3 - £3.50. We also have a very big car park.
8. Who is your favourite player (for your club) of all time- and why?
Nigel Webb was an outstanding goalscorer.
9. Finally, predict who will fill the top five positions at the end of the forthcoming season:
Billericay Town, Dulwich Hamlet, Worthing, Tonbridge Angels, Enfield Town.
